The myth speaks about Psyche who was a so beautiful princess that she provoked the jealously of Venus, that ordered his son Love to pierce her with a arrow to make her fall in love with an ugly man; but when Love saw her was so shocked by her beauty that he fell in love with her. Disobeying his mother he made Zephyr to bring her in a magic palace where they swore eternal love.Every night in secret Love went to meet her , but as it is impossible for a god to love a human being, he made her swear that she would have never look at his face during the sleep , otherwise they sould have separated. Psyche induced by her sisters wanted to see her lover at the light of a lantern who after waking up run away.


Il mito parla di Psiche, principessa talmente bella da suscitare la gelosia di Venere, che ordinò ad Amore, suo figlio, di trafiggerla con una delle sue frecce per farla innamorare di un uomo brutto, ma Amore quando la vide rimase così colpito dalla sua bellezza che se ne innamorò. Disobbediendo alla madre la fece portare dal vento Zefiro in un magico palazzo dove i due si giurarono eterno amore. Ogni notte in segreto Amore andava a incontrarla, ma data l'impossibilità di un dio di amare un essere mortale, fece giurare alla donna che non avrebbe mai guardato il suo volto nel sonno, pena la loro separazione, Psiche, però, istigata dalle sorelle, volle osservare alla luce di una lanterna l'innamorato che svegliatosi fuggì.

Brandy scallops / Capesante al brandy

ingredients for 4 people
8 scallops
brandy
garlic
parsley
olive oil
salt and pepper

This recipe is very simple but is our preferred way to cook scallops (down with the grated bread that cover all favours!)

Clean the scallops , take them out of the shells that you'll keep for later on.Cook them in a pan for two minutes with oil and a couple of smashed garlic slices, jump them for a minute on a high flame with some brandy, salt and pepper. Switch on the oven at 180°. Put each scallop in its half shell, add some of the sauce left in the pan, a little oil, a slice of garlic and some parsley. Leave in the oven for 7/8 minutes and serve them very hot!

Questa è una ricetta molto semplice ma è il nostro modo preferito di cucinare le capesante (abbasso il pan grattato che copre tutti i gusti!)

Pulite le capesante, toglietele dalla conchiglia che terrete a parte. Passatele in padella con dell'olio d'oliva e un paio di spicchi d'aglio schiacciati per un paio di minuti, saltatele poi per un minuto a fuoco vivo sfumandole con del brandy, salate e pepate. Accendete il forno e portatelo a 180 gardi. Mettete ogni capasanta nel suo mezzo guscio, aggiungete un po' del sughetto avanzato in padella, un filo d'olio, una fettina d'aglio e una foglia di prezzemolo. Mettetele in forno per 7/8 minuti, servitele ben calde!

Charlie is surfing is a song of Baustelle. It is the first single of the album Amen of 2008. The song is inspired to Charlie Don't Surf, Maurizio Cattelan work representing a boy with his hands nailed with pencils (in its turn ispired to a dialogue in Apocalypse now that inspired a song of Clash Charlie Don't Surf).

Baustelle is a indie rock Italian band born in 1996 in Montepulciano in the Siena province. The name of the group comes from a German word that means "construction site" "men at work". The band is formed by Francesco Bianconi (voice, guitars, Keybord), Rachele Bastreghi (voice, keyboards, drums) and Claudio Brasini (guitars). This song is inspired to the famous American Colombo lieutenant of a famous tv movie and talks about the hypocrisy of the upper class.

Charlie fa surf è una canzone dei Baustelle. È il primo singolo estratto dal loro album Amen pubblicato nel 2008. La canzone è ispirata a Charlie Don't Surf, opera di Maurizio Cattelan, nella quale è rappresentato un bambino con le mani inchiodate al banco di scuola con le matite (a sua volta ispirato ad un dialogo del film Apocalypse Now, che aveva ispirato anche un brano dei Clash Charlie Don't Surf).
I Baustelle sono un gruppo musicale indie rock italiano nato nel 1996 a Montepulciano in provincia di Siena. Charlie don't surf is one of Maurizio Cattelan installation, a boy nailed to his desk. He is sit face backwards, he wears a gray sweatshirt with the hood on. Charlie looks punished and his hands are nailed with two pencils to the desk.

Cattelan is one of the most popular contemporary Italian artist emerged at international level during the 90's. His eclectic works often combine sculpture with performances, simulating and subverting the rules of culture and society through a continuous game of trespassing and insubordination acts.


Charlie don’t surf è un’installazione di Maurizio Cattelan, un bambino inchiodato ad un banco di scuola. Charlie è seduto di spalle al suo banco, indossa una felpa grigia con il cappuccio tirato su. Charlie sembra in punizione, e ha il palmo delle mani inchiodato sul banco da due matite.

Cattelan attualmente è uno degli artisti italiani più popolari che siano emersi internazionalmente negli anni novanta. Le sue poliedriche opere spesso combinano la scultura con la performance, simulando e sovvertendo le regole della cultura e della società, in un continuo gioco di sconfinamenti e gesti di insubordinazione.

Paprika lampascioni / lampascioni alla paprica

Lampascioni is a plant of the same family of garlic and onion. This plant bulb grows about 5,9 inches underground and it looks like a little onion with a bitter flavour and it is used above all in South Italy (Basilicata e Puglia). Usually you find it in oil but our Puglia greengrocer's taught us this excellent recipe.

INGREDIENTS
lampascioni
salt
sweet or hot paprika (as you prefer)
olive oil

Clean lampascioni very well, taking the dirt and the roots off, wash them and after carving a cross on the button leave them in water for one houre so they release the bitter. At this point put them in an oven pan (one piece or half) salt them and cover them with abundant paprika, mix and add a little oil and put in oven at 180° for half an hour. Try them anyway with a fork to verify if they are soft. They are an unusual and excellent side dish!

Il lampascione è una pianta erbacea della stessa famiglia dell'aglio e della cipolla. Il bulbo di tale pianta che cresce a 15 cm circa nel sottosuolo, è simile a una piccola cipolla di sapore amarognolo ed è consumato specialmente nell'Italia meridionale; particolarmente in Basilicata e Puglia. Lo si trova solitamente sott'olio ma la mia fruttivendola pugliese m'ha insegnato quest'ottima ricetta.

INGREDIENTI lampascioni
sale
paprica dolce o piccante (a seconda del proprio gusto)
olio extra vergine d'oliva

Pulite bene i lampascioni, togliete tutta la terra e le radici, sciacquateli e dopo aver inciso una croce sul fondo lasciateli in acqua almeno un'ora in modo che perdano un po' dell'amaro. A questo punto mettete i lampascioni in una pirofila (interi o a pezzi), salateli, copriteli con abbondante paprica, mescolate aggiungete un filo d'olio d'oliva e infornate a 180 gradi per circa mezz'ora, tastate con la forchetta comunque per sentire quando saranno morbidi. Sono un contorno insolito e veramente ottimo!

Caparezza (Curly headed in Molfetta dialect Puglia), art name of Michele Salvemini (Molfetta october 9th 1973) is an Italian singer - songwriter and a rapper.

He is the son of a teacher and a worker who played in a band, Michele started to play as a young boy. He studied accountancy in Molfetta even though he would have liked to become a comic strip artist. After the diploma he decided to study advertisement and he won a scholarship for the Communication Academy of Milan, but very soon he abandoned the advertisement world to dedicate himself entirely to music.

Goodbye Malinconia is one of the songs of his last album (2011) Eretic Dream.

Caparezza (Testa riccia in dialetto molfettese Puglia ), nome d’arte di Michele Salvemini (Molfetta, 9 ottobre 1973) è un cantautore e rapper italiano. Figlio di una maestra e di un operaio che suonava in un gruppo musicale, Michele cominciò a suonare da bambino. Studiò ragioneria presso l'istituto tecnico di Molfetta, anche se avrebbe voluto fare il fumettista. Dopo il diploma decise di darsi alla pubblicità e vinse una borsa di studio per l'Accademia di Comunicazione di Milano, ma ben presto abbandonò il mondo pubblicitario per dedicarsi a tempo pieno alla musica
